Introduction
Logger 26 is a lightweight, high-performance logging terminal for portable radio operators who want a fast, secure way to record contacts without unnecessary extras. Designed around modern Android standards, Logger 26 streamlines QSO entry with quick taps for callsign, frequency, mode, RST and power while auto-applying timestamps so you stay focused on the air rather than the screen. It pairs intelligent band detection with a CW haptic engine for tactile Morse confirmation and emphasizes privacy and security—ideal for operators who value speed, reliability and data protection in the field.
Key Features
⭐ Logger 26 offers fast QSO entry with tap-to-log fields for callsign, frequency, mode, RST and power, plus automatic timestamps.
⭐ Smart frequency-to-band and mode detection reduces manual errors when assigning contacts to the correct band.
⭐ A CW haptic engine provides tactile Morse vibrations to confirm callsigns and status signals even when the screen is hard to read.
⭐ Session history displays your most recent five QSOs for easy review and quick corrections.
⭐ Built on modern Android standards with Material Design dynamic color and a zero‑bloat interface for responsive performance.
Advantages
✅ Logger 26 uses hardware-backed AES-GCM encryption for stored credentials, keeping sensitive data locked in device secure hardware.
✅ Zero telemetry: no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking, so your logging stays private by design.
✅ All network traffic is forced over secure transport (TLS 1.3) to protect transmissions from interception.
✅ Minimalist interface and optimized performance let you log quickly in portable and mobile operating conditions.
Disadvantages
❎ Requires a recent Android build to get the full, optimized experience since it targets modern platform standards.
❎ The deliberate zero‑bloat approach means users seeking extensive integrated services or trackers may find the feature set intentionally limited.
❎ Hardware-backed encryption benefits depend on the presence of secure hardware on your device; older phones may not provide the same protections.
