Card values are Ace 11, Ten 10, King 4, Queen 3, Jack 2, and marriages (a King and Queen of the same suit) score bonus points when announced. When the stock remains, the second player may play any card; once the stock is gone players must follow suit or play trumps when possible. After each trick players draw from the stock, winner first, and play continues until someone reaches 66 points or the last trick decides the hand. The leading player can also close the stock by dragging the face-up trump onto the stock, committing the hand to the empty-stock rules; closers must reach 66 to win that hand. Game points are awarded at the end of hands: 3 points if the opponent won no tricks, 2 if the opponent scored less than 33 points, and 1 otherwise. The match ends when a player collects 7 game points.
