Introduction
Live Now is a compact but capable screen recording and live-streaming app designed to capture clear video, screenshots and camera feeds from your Android device. Whether you need crisp Full HD capture for tutorials, smooth mobile recordings for social channels, or secure broadcasts to an RTMP server, Live Now bundles export controls, camera support and stabilisation into a single tool. The app appeals to creators who want flexible encoding options, hassle-free watermarking and reliable streaming with standard H.264/AAC output and RTMPS security, all configurable directly on the phone.
Core Functions
Live Now records screen activity and camera input, captures screenshots and broadcasts live to any RTMP-compatible server. Video export supports resolutions from 240p up to Full HD (1080p), framerates from 15FPS to 60FPS and bitrates up to 12Mbps. Streaming uses standard H.264 video and AAC audio encoding, with optional RTMPS for encrypted delivery. The app can stream using front or back cameras while simultaneously sharing the screen, and it includes an option to overlay a custom logo watermark or to keep outputs watermark-free.
Key Features
Full HD recording at 1080p, 60FPS and up to 12Mbps bitrate; adjustable output settings to balance quality and file size; no mandatory watermark with an optional logo watermark feature; RTMP broadcast support with RTMPS for secure streams; simultaneous camera and screen streaming; standard H.264/AAC encoding for wide compatibility; built-in Video Stabilizer to reduce shake in captured footage; screenshot capture and simple export tools for sharing or editing.
User Experience
The interface focuses on fast setup and clear controls: enter your server URL and stream key, choose resolution and framerate, then tap to start a broadcast — a countdown and a thin red status bar indicate live sharing. Live Now exposes common settings for bitrate and encoding so you can fine-tune recordings without digging through advanced menus. Subscription access unlocks continual use after a 3-day free trial; billing auto-renews unless disabled at least 24 hours before the cycle ends, and you can cancel via Google Play Subscriptions to stop future renewals. The app encourages responsible use and reminds users to respect platform terms and copyright rules.
Conclusion
For creators who need a straightforward recorder with streaming capabilities, Live Now combines high-quality capture, secure broadcast options and practical controls in a lightweight package. It’s a good match for mobile content creators, educators and anyone who wants dependable screen and camera recording without complex setups or forced branding.
